Purchase a raffle ticket with the winner to receive your choice of one of two prizes each valued at $3,000. Choose from either a six month subscription to Green Chef, a meal plan company bringing ethically sourced, fully prepped meals to your door or an outdoor sporting goods shopping spree at Gorham Bike & Ski located in Portland. Tickets are $50 - only 200 tickets will be sold.
Evergreen Holiday Fair Saturday, December 3, 2016
Our Holiday Fair is always held the first Saturday of December, along with other churches and non-profit organizations in Yarmouth, making for a very festive day. We are famous for our homemade soup and bread lunches. Several of the tables at our fair include:
- Craft Table – items made by church community
- Bake Table – baked goods and candies
- Pantry Table - jams, jellies, pickles, etc.
- Second Time Around Table
- Silent Auction
- Holiday Wreaths
The church community makes and organizes the fair. We welcome new items, suggestions, and help with lots of preparations as well as working the day of the fair. Look for events held at church long before the fair takes places to bake and create to new items. All are welcome to the workshops. They’re lots of fun and a marvelous way to meet and make new friends.

On a seasonal basis, we work together to create big, beautiful Maine Farm Suppers from locally-sourced healthy foods, and invite the wider community to join us for dinner. Maine Farm Suppers are a fresh, delicious expression of our UU principles, and echo the spirit of our beloved Bean Suppers.

Each spring we offer a fun event featuring elegant foods and a live auction. While the format varies from year to year, each Gala/Auction has been so much fun and contributed substantially to our Fundraising goals.

than ever! Join with the 25 church families already participating in this great program. Hannaford donates 5% of whatever you put onyour Hannaford cash card (and you still have 100% of what you put on the card)
We order and reload Hannaford cards TWICE a month - 1st Sunday
AND 3rd Sunday of each month!
Do you have more than one family member who shops at Hannaford? They can EACH have a card! Checks are made out to 'First Universalist Church' for the amount you would like to add to your card ($500 max balance per card; no minimum). In the check memo area please put the last 5 digits of the card number (and your email address for first time buyers).
Checks can be mailed to the church, or brought to the office by the Saturday before the order is due. Last year the church received over $2800 from Hannaford for the groceries we purchased; thanks to everyone who's participating!
