Sherri Mitchell, author of Sacred Instructions, will be with us on Wednesday, May 15, 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Sherri is an attorney and activist from the Penobscot Nation and will be sharing her interesting and motivating wisdom. This event is open to all. $10 donation welcome at the door to support the Land Peace Foundation.

Are you worried about climate change? Come talk with these young people and you’ll feel a lot better! Come hear how young people in Yarmouth are working with our town leaders to make real change, right here, right now. Faith in Action’s Climate Action Panel 2024 will feature members of the Yarmouth High School’s Climate Action Team who have been working with the town’s Climate Action Task force to introduce a variety of powerful environmental initiatives into our comprehensive plan. They (and the grown ups they work with) will tell you what motivates them and offer concrete suggestions about what you can do locally to make a difference!
