At First Universalist, we are committed to encouraging the spiritual growth and development of children. We have trained, professional staff facilitating our children’s programming in order to provide high-quality experiences and allow for parents and caregivers to explore their own beliefs during adult faith conversations and worship services.

Every Sunday

Children’s Chapel

Sundays, 10:45 – 11:30 am
Children and their parents begin Sunday mornings together in the Sanctuary for the beginning of worship service. Children are then given a blessing and leave to participate in Children’s Chapel. Joining other children on Sunday mornings can help your child to create friendships and explore the same religious education themes in which the adults are finding inspiration. A mix of stories, games, celebrations, activities, and group discussion allows all children to chime in with their big questions and helps them to find their own answers. Our Children’s religious exploration program is staffed by professional teachers who love to teach.

The Nursery

Sundays, 10:15 – 11:30 am
Our Nursery is a safe and inviting place for our youngest friends to play on Sunday mornings and during all major church events. Young children who go to the nursery are cared for by Red Cross certified teens who are often members of our Youth Groups. While we are happy to have babies and toddlers in our worship service with the adults, the nursery usually turns out to be too fun to resist!
